Regarding the online rumors that Xiaomi and OPPO stole Huawei's "Red Maple Primary Color Imaging" technology, Xiaomi's PR General Manager Wang Hua refuted the rumor on Weibo on December 6, saying that relevant links and account screenshots had been submitted to the Legal Department, and legal staff had begun collecting evidence from relevant accounts. OPPO also filed a complaint against the relevant claims on Weibo, emphasizing that it is the first manufacturer in the industry to use a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor and that the technology has nothing to do with Jilin Qiushi.
