On December 9, China's State Administration for Market Regulation announced that it had opened an investigation into Nvidia for suspected violations of China's antitrust regulations. It is understood that the company's violations may be related to the "Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Antitrust Review Decision on Approving Nvidia's Acquisition of Equity in Mellanox Technologies Limited with Additional Restrictive Conditions" issued on April 16, 2020.
