Great Wall Motors successfully acquired the Iracemapolis plant in Brazil

Great Wall Motors and Daimler Group have reached an agreement to formally acquire the Iracemapolis plant in Brazil. The transaction involves assets such as land, factory buildings, machinery and equipment, but does not involve personnel transfer. Great Wall Motors plans to build the plant into a global intelligent production base to meet the market demand of Brazil and other South American countries. After the factory renovation is completed, the annual production capacity will reach 100,000 vehicles, and it is expected to create nearly 2,000 jobs locally.
