Nissan plans to sell electric vehicles using 6,000 tons of die-cast chassis by 2027

Nissan of Japan announced that its electric vehicles from fiscal 2027 will use chassis produced by approximately 6,000-ton die-casting machines. This move is expected to reduce manufacturing costs by 10% and is a key strategy to achieve price parity between electric vehicles and internal combustion engine vehicles in fiscal 2030.
