The world's first sodium-electric vehicle officially rolls off the assembly line

On December 28, the "Far Energy Technology's World's First Sodium-ion Battery Model Rolling Off the Line Ceremony" was held at the Jiangling Group New Energy Energy Factory in Nanchang, Jiangxi. The Jiangling Yizhi EV3 (Youth Edition) 251km version is the first sodium-ion battery pure electric A00-class model jointly developed by Far Energy Technology and Jiangling Group's new energy vehicles. Far Energy Technology's sodium-ion battery adopts the layered oxide + hard carbon technology route, with an energy density of 140-160Wh/kg. According to the plan, Far Energy will put the second-generation sodium-ion battery into production in 2024, with an energy density of 160-180Wh/kg; in 2026, the product energy density will be further increased to 180-200Wh/kg to meet the application needs of more scenarios.
