Apple's self-developed 5G Modem chip is about to debut, aiming to replace Qualcomm in 2027

According to people familiar with the matter, Apple's internal 5G mobile network modem chip, code-named "Sinope", which took five years to develop, will debut on the new iPhone SE next spring. The chip is manufactured by TSMC, and Apple expects it to replace Qualcomm's modem chip technology in 2027.
