Domestic 8-inch silicon carbide substrate manufacturer wins large order from Japan

Recently, Century Golden Core signed an order for SiC substrates with a Japanese customer. According to the agreement, Century Golden Core will provide a total of 130,000 pieces of 8-inch SiC substrates to the customer between 2024 and 2026, with a total contract value of approximately US$200 million (approximately RMB 1.45 billion). Founded in 2019, Century Golden Core focuses on the research and development and production of third-generation semiconductor SiC materials and has successfully solved a number of key technical problems. The company said that its 8-inch SiC substrates have made significant progress and its product performance has reached the international advanced level.
