X-Fab to receive $50 million investment to modernize and expand Lubbock, Texas facility

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced that the Biden Administration is proposing to invest $50 million in X-Fab to support the modernization and expansion of its existing silicon carbide plant in Lubbock, Texas. The funds will be used to enhance supply resiliency in critical infrastructure markets and are expected to create up to 150 jobs.
