Coherent secures $33 million investment to expand Sherman, Texas facility

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced that the Biden administration proposes to invest $33 million in Coherent to support the expansion and modernization of its existing plant in Sherman, Texas. The funds will be used to build the world's most advanced 150mm InP production line and are expected to create approximately 70 jobs.
