CRRC Times Electric launches new train "smart brain" TACS system

CRRC Times Electric released its self-developed new "smart brain" for trains at the Urban Rail Transit Existing Line Equipment and Facilities Renovation Technology Seminar held in Zhuzhou - the Train Autonomous Operation Control System (TACS system) based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication. The system has achieved a technological leap from "automatic operation" to "autonomous operation" and has the characteristics of self-sensing, self-decision-making, signal-vehicle fusion, and open compatibility. Compared with traditional systems, the overall reliability of the TACS system has been improved to 99.9996%, the train return efficiency has been improved by 15%, the construction investment has been reduced by about 15%, and the system debugging time has been reduced by about 30%.
