Yichang Municipal Government and Chuneng New Energy signed a cooperation agreement to jointly promote the lithium battery industrial park project

On May 10, the Yichang Municipal Government reached a cooperation agreement with Chuneng New Energy to jointly develop a lithium battery industrial park project. The project has a total investment of 60 billion yuan, an estimated annual output value of 100 billion yuan, and will provide about 20,000 jobs. As the strategic layout of Hengxin Automobile Group in the field of new energy vehicles, Chuneng New Energy will help Yichang achieve the transformation and upgrading from traditional chemical industry to new energy battery industry.
