Samsung Electronics to raise CIS prices in 2024, Chinese CIS manufacturers plan to follow suit

Samsung Electronics will reportedly raise CIS prices in 2024, and industry insiders revealed that Chinese CIS manufacturers plan to follow suit. Samsung issued a price increase notice for CIS in November last year, informing customers that the average price increase in the first quarter of next year would be as high as 25%, and the price increase for some products could be as high as 30%. The price increase is mainly concentrated in products with specifications above 32MP, which happens to be the specifications used by mainstream mobile phones.
