Socionext Launches Low-Power 60GHz Millimeter-Wave Radar Solution

Socionext has launched low-power 60GHz millimeter-wave radar solutions, including the automotive-grade SC1260 series and the consumer-grade SC1240 series. These two chips adopt a highly integrated design, with built-in radar signal processing units, antennas, RF circuits, etc., which can achieve flexible duty cycle control and reduce BOM costs through ultra-small PCB design. These solutions can be applied to functions such as child presence detection in the car cabin, seat condition detection, in-vehicle intrusion detection, and gesture operation.
