Tesla insists on pure vision solution and cancels millimeter-wave radar for all models

Tesla has decided to remove millimeter-wave radar from all its models and rely entirely on cameras and artificial neural networks to achieve autonomous driving functions. Musk believes that this pure vision solution is not only simpler, but also far exceeds the combination of lidar, radar and vision in terms of perception accuracy and reliability.
