GM sells stake in Michigan battery plant to LG, and the two sides continue to cooperate in the development of prismatic batteries

GM has decided to sell its stake in a massive electric vehicle battery factory near Lansing, Michigan, to LG. Still, the two companies will build two other giant EV battery factories in the U.S. and continue to work together on a new generation of prismatic cells.
