According to the annual report submitted by Analog Devices (ADI), a major US chip manufacturer, as of November 2, ADI had a total of approximately 24,000 employees, which is 2,000 fewer than the global workforce as of October 28, 2023, a decrease of approximately 8%. This means that ADI may have laid off 2,000 employees in the past year. According to foreign media reports, ADI recently cut nearly 200 jobs in Massachusetts, USA. As of July 1 this year, ADI had 2,643 full-time positions in Massachusetts, a 7% decrease from 2,834 positions in the same period last year.
