About Spotlight Automotive: A joint venture between Great Wall Motors and the BMW Group

Spotlight Automotive was established on December 27, 2019 and is headquartered in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province. Great Wall Motors and BMW Group each hold a 50% stake. The company is the first joint venture project of Great Wall Motors and the first pure electric vehicle joint venture project of BMW in the world. Spotlight Automotive adopts the "joint venture but not joint operation" model to jointly develop and produce automobiles, but the products will be sold by brand into the service networks of BMW Group and Great Wall Motors respectively.
