Development History of BCD Technology

105
BCD (Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS) technology is a monolithic integrated process technology, an advanced manufacturing process that combines BJT (bipolar transistor), CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) and DMOS (double diffused metal oxide semiconductor) transistor technologies on a single chip. It was first successfully developed by STMicroelectronics in 1985. With the further development of integrated circuit technology, BCD technology has become the mainstream manufacturing technology for power integrated circuits.
