Tesla's expansion plan for Berlin factory approved by local parliament

Tesla's expansion plan for its Grünheide plant near Berlin, Germany, has been approved by the local parliament despite opposition from local residents. Tesla still needs to obtain approval from environmental authorities before it can begin expansion. The expansion project will include additional logistics space, including a train station, and aims to increase production capacity to 1 million vehicles per year and 100 GWh of battery production capacity.
