Mercedes-Benz expands recall of some imported S-Class cars

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. announced that due to problems with the communication module control unit software, the communication module cannot start normally or is repeatedly reset; or there are problems with the software program settings, which may cause the emergency call test mode to be accidentally activated by the user, posing a safety hazard. It has decided to expand the recall of some imported S-Class vehicles with production dates between August 10, 2020 and July 26, 2021, totaling 40,446 vehicles.
