CATL and CATL jointly establish a lithium battery safety laboratory

Recently, the Civil Aviation Science and Technology Research Institute of China (CAAST) and CATL signed a cooperation framework agreement for a lithium battery safety joint laboratory in Ningde, Fujian. Li Yu, president of CAAST, and Zeng Rong, co-president of the supply chain and operations system of CATL, attended the signing ceremony and jointly unveiled the laboratory. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation around technological innovation and application in the fields of lithium battery transportation and airport electrification, jointly promote the formulation and implementation of lithium battery safety standards, and enhance the core competitiveness of my country's lithium battery industry.
