ExxonMobil aims to become leading lithium supplier for electric vehicles by 2030

ExxonMobil announced in November last year that the company has started the first phase of North American lithium production in southwestern Arkansas, and expects to start first production in 2027. Their goal is to become the leading lithium supplier for electric vehicles by 2030 to meet the manufacturing needs of more than 1 million vehicles per year.
