CATL's German factory successfully achieved mass production of lithium batteries

Recently, CATL's first overseas factory in Thuringia, Germany, has successfully achieved mass production of lithium batteries, which is an important step in CATL's global layout. The first production line of the factory has been successfully put into production, and other production lines are also being installed and debugged intensively. These lithium batteries have passed all necessary tests, indicating that CATL has the ability to provide local production and supply to European customers. Matthias Zentgraf, co-president of CATL Europe, said that despite challenges such as the epidemic, the company remains steadfast in fulfilling its commitment to customers and the transformation of electric vehicles in Europe. At present, the factory is doing its best to increase production capacity, which will be our top priority next year.
