The revenue of the world's top five wafer manufacturing equipment manufacturers increased by 3% in the first three quarters of 2024

The latest report from market research firm Counterpoint Research shows that the revenue of the world's top five wafer manufacturing equipment (WFE) manufacturers, including Applied Materials, ASML, TEL, KLA and Lam Research, increased by 3% in the first three quarters of 2024. The main driving force for this growth is storage demand, especially driven by the demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM). In the first three quarters of 2024, the top five wafer manufacturing equipment manufacturers' revenue in the storage field increased by 38% year-on-year.
