Samsung Electronics adjusts capacity allocation of P4 production line at Pyeongtaek Park

Recently, it was reported that Samsung Electronics decided to adjust the capacity allocation of the first phase of the P4 production line in the Pyeongtaek Park, changing it from pure NAND Flash production to NAND Flash + DRAM production to cope with changes in market demand. It was revealed that some NAND flash production equipment has been installed in the first phase of P4. Samsung Electronics plans to increase the NAND production capacity of the production line to 10,000 wafers per month by the end of the year. At the same time, the first phase of P4 is expected to have a monthly production capacity of 30,000 to 40,000 DRAMs in the future.
