Rivian receives $6.6 billion loan from U.S. government

Rivian, a new American company, announced that it has received a conditional loan of $6.6 billion from the U.S. Department of Energy, which will help it complete the construction of its Georgia plant. The loan will help Rivian expand its production base in the United States and produce smaller and cheaper R2 SUVs and R3/R3X crossovers at a more advantageous cost.
