Mercedes-Benz (China) recalls 89,674 imported GLE SUV and GLS SUV vehicles

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will recall 89,674 imported GLE SUV and GLS SUV vehicles produced between July 5, 2018 and January 7, 2023 from April 12, 2024. The problem is that the grounding terminal fixing bolt of the battery grounding wire under the passenger seat may not be properly tightened, posing a risk of fire. The company will check and tighten the grounding wire fixing bolt free of charge, and replace it if damaged to eliminate safety hazards.
