Qualcomm acquires Nuvia to enhance CPU architecture capabilities

In order to enhance its self-developed CPU architecture, Qualcomm spent $1.4 billion to acquire the startup Nuvia in 2021. After three years of hard work, Qualcomm finally launched its self-developed PC processor Snapdragon X Elite based on ARM architecture, which is powerful enough to compete with Intel and Apple M3.
