Development Status of Silicon Carbide Industry Chain

The silicon carbide industry chain mainly includes four major links: substrate, epitaxy, devices and applications. The substrate and epitaxy links occupy the main value of the industry chain, accounting for 60% of the total cost respectively. At present, the technical barrier of silicon carbide substrate in the silicon carbide industry chain is the highest, and its production is difficult, resulting in high cost of SiC devices.
