General Motors files for patent to prevent road rage

1
General Motors recently applied for a patent called "Vehicle Occupant Mental Health Assessment and Countermeasures Deployment" to prevent traffic accidents caused by drivers' road rage. The system uses a series of sensors and modules to evaluate the situation in the car and take appropriate measures according to different situations. These measures include issuing alarms, suggesting deep breathing, making hands-free calls to other contacts, and talking to professional counselors when necessary. In extreme cases, the system can even automatically take over the vehicle and provide autonomous driving control to prevent accidents.
