Volcano Engine and Red Hat join forces to help the automotive industry in the multi-cloud era

Volcano Engine, the cloud service platform of ByteDance, recently passed Red Hat's Cloud Computing and Service Provider Certification Program (CCSP) and formed a new partnership with Red Hat. This cooperation will bring better cloud computing services to the automotive-related industries and promote their digitalization process. Red Hat is known for its stable Linux operating system, which is now available on Volcano Engine, ready for the multi-cloud era of the automotive industry. According to IDC's forecast, the proportion of Linux operating system environments (OSEs) in hybrid clouds will increase from 78% in 2021 to 82% in 2026. In addition, Volcano Engine also provides customers with Red Hat Linux public images to facilitate their configuration of resources on cloud servers.
