Toyota acquires battery joint venture to produce all-solid-state batteries

Japanese automaker Toyota has fully acquired Prime Earth EV Energy, its battery joint venture with Panasonic, and is preparing to mass-produce all-solid-state batteries, with mass production planned between 2027 and 2028.
