According to 21 Finance, a former employee of Great Wall Motors revealed that the company maliciously laid off hundreds of employees through non-consensual job transfers and salary cuts. The whistleblower said that the human resources department transferred her from a technical position to a warehouse management position based on the fact that "three performance appraisal results in the past year were D, which was considered incompetent for the current position requirements", and her salary was also reduced to 3,000 yuan/month. The whistleblower said that the statement in the job transfer notice that her three performance appraisal results in the past year were D was not true, because her three quarterly performance results in the past year were C, C, and D respectively. Great Wall Motors decided to terminate the labor relationship with her. She is currently in the labor arbitration stage with the company.
