CATL enters electric aircraft field, expects to launch applications in 2027-2028

Recently, Zeng Yuqun, chairman of CATL, revealed at an industry conference that the company is developing electric aircraft with partners. So far, a 4-ton aircraft has been successfully tested, and plans to gradually expand from small aircraft to 8.8-ton aircraft. Further efforts are needed to achieve commercialization, and related applications are expected to be launched in 2027-2028.
