Volkswagen writes down Northvolt stake

Volkswagen Group has written down its 21% stake in Swedish battery maker Northvolt significantly, people familiar with the matter said, but did not disclose the current value of the stake. As of the end of 2023, Volkswagen reported a book value of 693 million euros for its stake in Northvolt, down nearly a quarter from a year ago.
