JDI's cooperation negotiations with China failed

JDI began negotiations with Wuhu last September after negotiations with Chinese technology company HKC for an OLED production partnership failed. JDI and Wuhu extended the negotiation period twice but failed to reach a final contract agreement. Callon noted that rising U.S. tariffs on China have made manufacturing investments in China economically unfeasible. While JDI continued to explore potential Chinese partnerships, those efforts were ultimately abandoned after Trump's election.
