As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aiways Automobile Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yiwei New Energy Automobile Research and Development Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Aiways Automobile (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.) has been declared bankrupt. On November 30, 2023, Anji Automobile Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. applied to the Shanghai No. 3 Intermediate People's Court for bankruptcy liquidation on the grounds that Aiways Automobile (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. could not repay its due debts and obviously lacked repayment ability.
