TSMC's investment in Kaohsiung's 2nm wafer fab is about $20 billion

TSMC's first 2-nanometer wafer fab (P1) in Kaohsiung is accelerating its construction, with a planned monthly production capacity of 20,000 wafers and an investment of approximately US$20 billion (RMB 140.22 billion). The second 2-nanometer wafer fab (P2) in the plant is also expected to have a monthly production capacity of 20,000 wafers, and the installation time is expected to be in the second half of next year or the beginning of the year after next.
