Zhiji Auto has become a beneficiary of solid-state battery technology. The Zhiji L6 jointly launched by SAIC and Zhiji Auto is equipped with Lightyear solid-state batteries. However, Li Zheng, co-founder and general manager of Qingtao Energy, pointed out that the first-generation Lightyear solid-state battery equipped with Zhiji L6 is actually a semi-solid-state battery because 10% of the infiltration liquid is added to improve the lithium ion conductivity of the solid electrolyte. In addition, automakers such as Changan Automobile, GAC and Toyota have also announced the mass production schedule of solid-state batteries, as early as 2025.
