Wu Kai, chief scientist of CATL, said that the maturity of CATL's all-solid-state battery technology has reached level 4, and it is striving to upgrade to level 7-8 by 2027. By then, the company is expected to achieve small-scale production of all-solid-state batteries, but large-scale production is not yet possible due to cost and other factors. CATL has been engaged in research and development in the field of all-solid-state batteries for more than ten years, with a research and development team of nearly 1,000 people, and has carried out joint research with partners, universities, and research institutions in the industry chain.
