The Fujian High Court recently ruled on the patent dispute between CATL and Sinotruk, requiring Sinotruk and its subsidiary AVIC Lithium Battery (Luoyang) Co., Ltd. to stop infringing CATL's "explosion-proof device" patent and to compensate for economic losses and reasonable expenses totaling 41.57 million yuan. Sinotruk said it would appeal.
