Continental and Nachip cooperate to promote the development of automotive pressure sensor chips

On October 24, 2024, Continental signed a project cooperation agreement with Nanochip at the 2024 Continental China Technology Experience Day held in Gaoyou, Jiangsu Province, China, to jointly develop automotive-grade pressure sensor chips with functional safety features. The chip will be based on Continental's next-generation global platform and will be used to achieve safer and more reliable automotive airbags, vehicle side collision monitoring and battery pack collision monitoring systems. This cooperation is an important step for Continental in its chip localization journey, aiming to meet the needs of Chinese and global customers for innovative differentiation and promote the safe, green and sustainable development of the automotive industry.
