Ambarella CEO Wang Fengmin said that he visited China twice in 2023 to actively expand his business in the automotive field. Ambarella is a chip manufacturer founded in 2004 and has fully entered the automotive field since 2016. In 2017, the company launched its first vision chip based on the CVflow AI engine, using a 14nm process. Subsequently, chips such as CV2, CV22, CV25, and CV28 have been mass-produced. In 2023, Ambarella released the first chip CV3-AD685 for mass-produced intelligent driving domain controllers, using a 5nm process technology and a computing power of 750 eTOPS.
