Ambarella launches multiple automotive intelligent driving domain controller chips to meet different market needs

In January 2024, Ambarella launched two automotive intelligent driving domain controller chips: CV3-AD635 and CV3-AD655. Among them, CV3-AD685 (750eTOPS) is aimed at L3 and L4 passenger car autonomous driving and L4 autonomous driving trucks; CV3-AD655 (250eTOPS) is aimed at urban NOA scenarios, and CV3-AD635 (125eTOPS) is aimed at high-speed NOA scenarios. The launch of these chips will meet different market needs. In April 2023, Ambarella released the AI ​​vision chip CV72AQ equipped with CVflow3.0 AI architecture. The chip has two built-in ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores, a CPU computing power of 20KDMIPS, and an AI equivalent computing power of 24eTOPS. In January 2024, Ambarella successively released two other CV3-AD series intelligent driving domain control chips: CV3AD635 and AD655.
