GAC Aion has seven production and sales bases around the world

GAC Aion recently made its debut at the 2024 Malaysia Auto Show, and its AION Y Plus model was launched in Malaysia. At the same time, GAC Aion announced that it will deploy seven major production and sales bases in Europe, South America, Africa, the Middle East, East Asia and other places in the next 1-2 years. In February, Aion models accounted for 11.8% of the Thai market, ranking first in the market segment. In early April, Aion and INDOMOBIL have completed the contract and officially entered the Indonesian market. At present, the two major overseas manufacturing bases in Thailand and Indonesia have been started one after another. Aion will radiate Southeast Asia and even the global automotive market based on the "Thailand + Indonesia" dual factory strategic layout. Ma Haiyang, general manager of GAC Aion Southeast Asia Center, revealed that Aion will quickly expand local channels with local dealers Tan Chang Group, build more than 25 dealerships by the end of the year, and gradually introduce three star products.
