Bolloré Group announces construction of next-generation electric vehicle battery Gigafactory in France

Blue Solutions, a subsidiary of the Bolloré Group, plans to invest in a new generation of electric vehicle battery super factory in Alsace, France, focusing on the production of super solid-state batteries. The factory is expected to start operation in 2030, with the goal of creating about 1,500 jobs by 2032, with a total investment of more than 2.2 billion euros. The annual production capacity is expected to reach 25GWh, enough to supply the battery needs of 250,000 vehicles.
