Nuro’s self-driving delivery vehicle technology has made significant progress

102
The progress of Nuro's self-driving delivery vehicles is mainly due to the Nuro Driver artificial intelligence system, but the company also explained that its newly expanded operational design domain (ODD) has brought more technological advances to self-driving vehicles: driving on multi-lane roads at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour (about 56 kilometers per hour); improved processing capabilities for complex scenarios, such as responding to moving emergency vehicles, navigating in construction zones, and responding to moving school buses; adding night driving capabilities, which greatly improves service availability. Nuro said that to date, its fleet's autonomous driving mileage has exceeded 1 million miles (about 1.6 million kilometers), and there have been no accidents caused by the autonomous driving system.
