Nuro launches new business model to license its self-driving platform

In September this year, Nuro announced a new business model that includes licensing its Nuro Driver platform to other automotive OEMs and mobile travel service providers. Nuro sees the potential of its advanced autonomous driving system, which combines automotive-grade hardware and artificial intelligence autonomous driving software to enable travel platforms and passenger cars to achieve up to Level 4 autonomous driving. Nuro said it has expanded its Level 4 autonomous driving vehicle operation network to three cities in two states and hailed it as one of the largest Level 4 autonomous driving vehicle deployments in the United States.
