Tesla makes huge profits from selling emissions credits

Tesla reportedly earned $2.1 billion, or 43% of its net profit, from selling emissions credits to other automakers between January and September. Although Tesla CEO Elon Musk supports eliminating the tax credit, it could have a significant impact on the company's financials.
