Webasto plans to cut 218 jobs in the U.S.

Webasto, a German parts supplier, plans to lay off 218 employees in the United States due to the slowdown in the global automotive industry. The company mainly produces roof systems and provides services to Ford Motor Company and other automakers. Currently, Webasto is facing debt restructuring of more than 1 billion euros. It is reported that the company has hired Rothschild to provide consulting advice in debt negotiations and possible mergers and acquisitions.
